re: Replace USC with a team likely to beat LSU, would LSU still be as nice?

You're so wrong....LSU may be a rival...but if this had happened to bama, Louisiana would reach out to you, win, lose or draw. What if the shoe were on the other foot? Would you reach out to LSU or are you just projecting how you would react by slamming LSU? You are in a minority...the good people of Bama would reach out to LSU as sure as LSU would reach out to them.
By the way, your streak comes to an end this year vs LSU...and we go up 10-7 in since the teams have met since 2000...just wait, you'll see.
p.s. LSU wins the next natty and leads bama in every category since 2000...record, west crowns, sec titles, national championship final games played...and tied at three each with national championships....may not happen this year...but it's coming...just wait...

If SC were playing the Aggies...I'd give SC a 60p percent chance winning because they will come out and play with pride for their state, whereas delusional people like aTm can't play with pride, they can't process the difference between that and arrogance.

Boy, you are the smart one, aren't you? Problem is, such a team is hard to find. Louisiana was touched by the outpouring of compassion from fans everywhere during Katrina. Compassion goes a little beyond football hoss. Evidently, you either have little or your just a jackass....tell u what...the tigers weren't so hungry for pig last year...but this year, a lot of little piglets will be squealing for their lives in dv...especially if they read crap like this. Grow up or go home. Surely, u don't represent good, decent arkansas fans. Of course, most ten year olds don;t.

Yea boy, LSU is only 17-2-1 against SC....I mean, there are just 100-s of upsets that would be bigger...Historians of the rant....astounding football IQ...lol

LSU will be merciful to SC due to the storm and will win by 30 but against arky...the bbq of baby back ribs will smell louder thank liquor in death valley and every wild hog North of Springhill, La....home of future LSU TIGER D.Williams will run for the mud holes and acorn trees in Arkansas, squealing like a bunch of piglets....of course, I would too if a six hundred pound bunch of bengal tigers were starving for pig....they weren't hungry for pig last year...this year, even u better keep your self=proclaimed pig deity twirl...'I Ham that I ham'talk away from the tiger...he may mistake u for being a real pig.
re: Most 200 yrd rushing games in a season

He'll run for 200 or more against SC, WKU, OL MISS,Fla, ARK, AGGIES AND BOWL GAME. Chubb ran for over 150 against bama....its' a 50-50 chance he runs for 200 against tide...only way he doesn't blow these records away is if, he doesn't get the touches...and I think he probably will not later in the season because the passing game will improve and needs to for LSU to contend this year. So imo, he has three 200 plus now...he gets 200 ag SC....he had nearly 140 against Fla last year....arky doesn't have the defense it had last year...Ol Miss looks vulnerable...The Aggies....please: soft underbelly... all of these plus the bowl, imo...six more 200 plus for nine, at least....UNLESS Miles reduces his touches....and that is a possibility with improving balance in the passing game.

Look, I am a purple and gold blooded Tiger....you know what you guys say... a real "corn dog" --- But maybe I'm not a typical Tiger because I do have a little history with Bama. I've had life long friends who love Bama like I love LSU. I attended a game in Birmingham when Bama beat Baylor...I think 40-0. And still have a vivid memory of seeing that hounstooth hat worn by the great Bear Bryant, onto the field with his team that evening.
Having said that.....if you really think this Saban-led team is on the wane you will see quite the difference. A 5 turnover, 6 point loss...correct some things and Bama will contend this year. No one from the West gets out unscathed this year.
With that said....Hoping LSU ends the skid vs Bama.

Really....anybody can say anything these days. If people had to document all the hyperbole thrown out online the internet would cease to exist.
re: What is Southern University?

Great band...and in fact historically they have had a fine law school. Southern also produced one of baseball's greats in hall of fame, Lou Brock. In 2003 they were Football National Champions in their division.
re: Will Muschamp is overrated.
Posted by byeutiger on 9/10/15 at 11:43 am
To be frank about 2003...LSU saw Nick Saban as the reason for that ferocious defense and Will M. was his understudy. Only in 2008, the one year of LSU's co-defensive coordinators...which was a disaster...only in that year did an LSU defense yield more ppg than did Will M during his tenure at LSU....Pelini did better and Chavis did better....and by the way, Pelini's defenses over three years ppg were better than that of John Chavis. Defense over their collective tenures, best results: 1. Pelini 2. Chavis 3. Muschamp 4. Peveto/Mallory

Go ahead....keep thinking last year...last year....that's exactly what we hope the Dawgs are thinking. You'll find out about these Tigers....real soon...

Maybe so, but Sumlin throws it out there as a matter of fact.... Les may say 'finish second' but does do with reservation, jmo.
re: Kevin Sumlin

Yes,correct but he's comparing his 2015 team with an aggie team who has brought in John Chavis and sold their fan base as the answer to their problems...the missing ingredient to elevating them to nat'l championship status....Sumlin is not stupid....he knows he's hung a heck of a whole lot on the Chief bailing him out of LSU owning him and bringing a few wins to aggieland in lieu of their dismal defense. Chavis will help....just about anyone worth their salt would help that defense...but he's no recruiter and never will be....LSU bro't him elite players...so did Tennessee....Sumlin will not be able to match the recruitment of elite defensive players....that chavis is used to having....and sooner rather than later, this delusional aggie fan base will come to see this...jmho

“Whether we win or lose Saturday night really doesn't define this football team, especially since it's not a conference game.”
This was Coach Sumlin's comments made on the SEC Network about the opening game of the upcoming college football season. I don't know about his approach motivating his players but I never remember the word “lose” coming from the lips of Les Miles about an upcoming contest….Not even when it was his first game as the Tiger head coach who happened to be against the Aggies' opponents this Saturday ....a game the Tigers won...a game LSU traveled to Arizona and played in Sun Devil Stadium as the “Home” team because the state of Louisiana had been ravaged by hurricane Katrina…..
Not even then did the word “lose” come out of his mouth. I might be wrong….But I've never heard it. So, from the mouth of a true purple and gold homer: Geaux Tigers….Geaux Coach Miles

Well the other takeaway is that aubie is in for a real butt whipping when they come to baton rouge....yes, you beat the lsu youth last year in jordan haire....but it will be ugly, ugly, ugly when u come to the real tiger den in dv this year....prepare yourself for a beatdown....you will find out .... soon enough....geaux[ tigers...
re: No more underestimating Bielema. This is the year he shocks the world

one situp and hardly any more wins in the west...listen, he is a good coach but arky has a low ceiling .... only way they will ever win a natty in football is by freak coincidence. This is not to say they don;'t play good football .... it's just that after decade after decade, it's obvious the piggies won't get there.
re: Missouri is the back to back SEC East Champion.

Georgia Bulldogs restore order in the east this year but Mizzou remains respectable. To be honest, Mizzou should be in the West and Auburn in the East...jmho

Quite a few have speed...some elite speed. Donte is one of these....however, not every speedster translates it on the football field with the pads on....Donte is one of these elite athletes who with or without pads is a speedster....jmho, but I believe whatever team gives him a step....whether it is bama or mcneese st, he will make them pay. Once he has a step in front of you...you will not catch him.
re: "If BH could just be average...."
Posted by byeutiger on 9/2/15 at 4:26 pm
I believe average is a given....the espn pundits would not be touting the rise of the Tigers into a potential national spotlight, if Brandon Harris was not delivering some major improvement in summer camp.... But I believe the kid has the skills and talent to be more than average.....this is why the pundits are suddenly making LSU the toast of the pre-season or at least one of the 4 or 5 everyone is promoting. Kind of disgusting when you think about it.... guys on these boards like the rant and 247 keep a near constant ear to the ground and are aware of the improvement or lack thereof...whereas these people are paid to give there opinions, howbeit nearly always being late to the party....that's why it's hard respecting the talking heads and their presumption that they are telling us anything and getting paid for it.
