It'll no longer be known as the Gallant Knight, but there is another bar opening there right after the new year. Same owners as Vintage.

Anyone in New York hear anything about any place playing it? I know the standards, Legends and Bar None, but haven't called them yet to see if they'll have it. Just wanted to see if anyone else has heard anything.

The '98 season recap on John and Lance right now is great.

If you'd listen to him objectively and not judge him based on if you believe everything he says, he's fantastic. Makes great points, calls it like he sees it, and he's hilarious while doing it. There's a reason he has a 4 hour time slot, and it's not because he sucks. I'm pretty sure if there's one company out there that has their sh!t together it's ESPN

Apparently Mark Whalberg and some other producer were in talks about basing a series off of Cocaine Cowboys and bringing it to HBO. Not sure whatever came of it, but I could imagine it being pretty awesome with HBO's track record with original series.

You'd be right about that. Although I'd obviously hope for more, anything outside of a first round series win would just be icing on the cake.

Undeclared was phenomenal. Sports Night is definitely in that phenomal category too. Damn the man.

Stabbing a teamate in the neck with a pair of scissors because he told him to get up so he could get a hair cut first and the guy refused. The Cowboys covered it up, because at the time, Irvin was on probhation.

Not to mention the numerous times he'd stay out until all hours of the morning snorting lines and getting drunk with strippers only to go to practice the next day and just dominate everyone. Which is why his leash was so long. The dude was an absolutle gamer.
