re: " wearing a face that she keeps in a jar by the door"

Heard an interview. It might have been McCartney. A woman that had Ponds Cold Cream. I believe it used to be kept in a large jar.
Just something random he observed.

Been seeing this. MTV is going off the air? Or just their lesser channels that actually play videos are gone??
Videos would be terrible now anyway. With tik tok creators directing videos for auto tuned hip hop and YouTube singers it would be terrible.
Hell time has changed. Every regular radio station like The Buzz hear in Houston has to throw in a FEW songs that are 30-40 years old. Either straight grunge songs or pop from back then like the Goo Goo Dolls.

This. I’d add a specific time frame too. 15-24 years old. Whoever you hung out with and what you listened to at that time sticks. Or pick another age range. Basically whatever age you felt everything was stress and worry free. Or as close to it as you ever got. Every memory I have from those years are just more vivid. So the music I listened to is as well.
After that new music I discovered had to be AMAZING to make it register. Or just finding occasional things that slipped past me at those ages.

best thing to do is change the formula that really really worked well for season 1. You're hired!
Fair enough. I am thinking of it as an old school show. 10 seasons or so. Not the way things are now. 5-6 seasons is the sweet spot. I was thinking of what the characters look like over a “week” that lasts 7 years IRL.

They have to come off of the one shift equals one season thing??
Nobody in the world would keep that job. Each day is like the worst shift ever plus a mass shooting??

Good I hope all Uber drivers memorize his face. Blast only the music of that drivers country of origin.

That didn’t take very long after mandates to give info and make accounts. Cannot wrap my head around paying for it.
re: Why do doctors practice in so many offices? Isn't it just easier to stick to one?
Posted by LSU alum wannabe on 12/17/25 at 1:34 pm to Eurocat
Large physician groups. UT Physicians here in Houston. Those guys are everywhere. Sort of like Kelsey Seybold but smaller. The offices are interchangeable.

How old are you.
I always forget that dad is getting older until things remind me. He is 78. We are in Katy. He is now “can’t drive at night” guy.

Some folks are having back issues. Some are anxious.
I can wait my turn to stand. When I do finally stand it is a relief. Also a sense of solid ground again. Since the floor is no longer 33000 feet in the air.

re: What female celebrities have you seen and how did their looks compare to expectations?
Posted by LSU alum wannabe on 12/17/25 at 10:54 am to HueyLongJr
Just local celeb but I saw Jennifer Reyna once. She was TV ready for a holiday report about 10-12 years ago. You just knew by her attire and her walk that an alpha in the looks department was coming by. That was before I could see who she was.

Lisinopril has side effects. They all do when you read. Slight cough that is a tickle in the throat is worrisome for later angio-edema. That’s its main problem side effect. Lips or tongue tingling will become swelling one day. If you’re crazy enough to ignore it it will become full on fish lips. At its worst it’s fatal.

That has been the list forever. Only thing the government ever moved was Vicodin. They moved Vicodin up to schedule 2 and the world spun off of it axis. It gave rise to heroin and then fentanyl. Which would have never happened to this extent had Norco or hydrocodone not been moved.

Step away from everything political and the news in general. Get out and live. Make a list of things that you enjoy to do and things you want to do. Bad stuff will continue to happen and damn near all of it will never impact your life at all. If it is warping your mind, it is time to divorce yourself from it. Go make a great life for yourself.
This. All of it.
I only watch local news until I know something national or global happened. Then I watch for the few minutes to get the basics. I can’t take much more of it.

If you have watched, listened to, or looked at any piece of art or film. A Democrat probably brought it to you.
