re: So Bamas better, right? Might want to rethink that one boys! Why we ride on Saturday!

It'd be a miracle if LSU pulled out the W here.
It'd be a miracle of LSU is within 20 points of Bama...and they won't be. This is going to be an old fashioned barnshed beating. This team has no character, no leaders, no coaching. Bama is playing for a bye in the playoff. Their sides is laser focused.

I'd give LSU 14 points...and they won't cover. This is going to be a traditional smackdown game...30-3 or something ridiculous.

Hopefully hes promoted to AD.

Sure...alot of people feel a kind of way about each coach.
Sumrall has you feeling some kind of way.
It's all good.

Also they're out on a few guys such as Sumrall, because they want experience from a bigger school
How did that just work out for us??
Thats right...the idea that Sumrall is out because Tulane is too small is nonsense.
He might not be the guy...odds might be against him. But if Kiffin rebuffs us, he's got just as good a chance as anyone else.

He would need a lot of support. He would need former head coaches on the staff and a lot of experienced analysts.
I think the risks are just too great.

That it might not be Sumrall is reasonable.
But that it has to be Kiffin is laughable.
What if Kiffin just doesn’t wanna come to Baton Rouge?
Who did your “tied in” person say it might be if it wasn’t Kiffin? Otherwise, this post means nothing.

That’s… True… Value.
And his daughter is Trump's Chief of Staff...
Still relevant after all these years!

You NEVER know. Every player, every year, is a FA.

No...much like Vandy, A&M will likely score TDs on the majority of their possessions. We'll move the ball. But it will be painful to watch.
Nuss will be bum rushed and take bad sacks and throw the ball all over the place, including to their team. Occasionally, he might get lucky ala at Vandy and have big play.
And Brian Kelly will be back at the podium with the challenge of coming up with new and different excuses as to why LSU lost.

Why it’s never going to happen. Money is better spent on buying talent the next 3-5 years
The money isn't "better spent"...you just have to spend less, which might be better (easier.)
But Brian Kelly was an experiment. With the right coordinators, things might could have been different.
Unfortunately, the experiment failed and things are what they are.
We'll likely have to spend a few more years before we can afford to get out of this.
re: Would you be mad if Nuss sat out the bowl game?

Its irrelevant.
Who cares if a 6th round draft pick prepares for the draft?
Who cares if a totally unproductive QB plays in a meaningless game?
No one less relevant to LSU football right now than Garrett Nussmeier.

re: What are your predictions for Vandy Game
Posted by Honestabe1809 on 10/15/25 at 8:12 am to LQTiger
If Vandy scores over 20, we lose. I think that is the max our offense can manage. Unless of course, we get some Defensive TDs.

Maybe...but I expect Nussmeier to keep Vandy in the game until late in the 4th quarter.
And the Sunday song will be, "well, if he didn't do this thing here and that thing there, and some other thing some other place, we would have won by alot." And that's probably not wrong.

And I don't hate him...I just don't like the fact that he's lost 3 games a year his whole career and is likely to do that again here. Its just what and who he is.
