I'll second this. I love the Black Cherry flavor.

What time does tailgating usually get started around Alex Box on gameday?

Been a few years, but I loved my experience at Brigsten's. I still think about it from time to time. Great food, awesome atmosphere. Felt like I was at a dinner party in someone's home.

Bevi gets a decent amount of pub, but I think people don't put it up there with the more well-known poboy shops. It should be because it's damn good!
Also, Kebab on St. Claude is super tasty but I don't see it mentioned in many articles and lists.

I don't understand Cobb's ranking either. Edelman, Tate, and Maclin all in front of him. Did Cobb frick a bunch of players' girlfriends?

Ugh. Walter Sharpe. That's a name I'll never forget. Coach Kirby used to take his car keys away from him because he would drive back to Birmingham on a daily basis to hang with his boys.
Ended up getting shot a few years later, if I remember correctly. Now he's playing ball in the Philippines.

Wedding Rehearsal Dinner in Nola. May 2015.

Would like a seated dinner for about 25-30 people. Thoughts? Already put in requests to Domenica (private room in the back), Calcasieu, and Ralph's on the park. Any other ideas?
Preciate it!

The $30 pizza you speak of are the Chicago-style pies, about 3-4 inches thick and loaded with toppings. It's delicious, but takes a while to make them. Great to split with a group because you'll only need a slice or two to fill up.
I usually go for the NY Style Chronic or the Manhattan Project.
You really can't go wrong with anything at Dave's. The setting is divey, but the food is great.

I see Bama fans have contracted the tight-butthole syndrome similar to the one LSU fans had before the State game.

Parking downtown and walking or taking the shuttle is the way to go. It's a little over a mile to the stadium, so not a bad walk if you decide to hoof it.
Post-game food and drink: The Veranda, Commodore Bob's (cotton district), or Restaurant Tyler (downtown) are nicer options. Dave's Dark Horse Tavern is a great dive bar with awesome pizza and sandwiches.
Stagger Inn (cotton district) and Halfway House (downtown) both have good hot wings and a bunch of TVs if you want a place to watch football.

Actually, the worst case scenario for MSU happened this weekend. A&M took Arkansas for granted, still escaped, had no injuries, and you can bet that Sumlin has the team's attention now.
MSU fricked.
Congrats. You used possibly the most overused narrative in all of sports. It's cool though. Keep singing what the khaki cult leaders are feeding you.
