and basically every football analyst out there has him as a Top 5 QB prospect for the next cycle.

Now go back to this time last year and see what they said about Sanders & Ewers
If he’s carrying $13M in dead money for 2025, then the immediate cap savings is only $7M. After the restructure, OTC had his cap hit at just over $20M.
Majority of that cap savings would come off of the 2026 books.

Ok, I had no faith this was an option. Makes me believe the Saints knew there was a major issue with the shoulder and worked some language into the restructure in the event he retires, probably why it wasn’t so automatic and Carr was making comments about not taking a pay cut.

Glad to be wrong about this, would be the 2nd time I was wrong about Carr :banghead:

That $30M is prorated bonus money that was already paid/received. He’s only walking from his league minimum salary ($1.25M) unless there is an injury guarantee built in

Cap wise? I’m pretty sure that is NOT true

ETA you downvoters are going to be very pisse

There are posts thinking he could have been a post 6/01 cut next year and he’d only hit 2026 for $19M and the remaining $40M would just disappear. I stopped trying to correct the Carr cap situation awhile back and will sometimes trying to through the facts out just to have it ignored

The fact that it’s being classified as a medical retirement means recovering any money will be impossible. If he just quit, they team could have settled to have a portion of the bonus returned; but that’s still a difficult process and messes up the optics around the league

Wow, cap is F*CKED
Why is that funny. I specifically asked about college postseason, but you obviously don’t know and couldn’t answer so you made your response appear as if I was questioning him professionally

Fresno went 0-2 in regionals his freshman year, 1-2 year 2, and missed regional year 3. Ask again, I wonder if he goes to a bigger college baseball school if he has more postseason success

opted to continue honing his craft at Fresno State

Was he heavily recruited for baseball (I know he had some opportunities in football), or did he just decide on Freson because of his parents?

Wonder if he has more college post-season success at a bigger school.

There are a lot of my way or the highway guys in here.

It's also an old school way of thinking. So even though they fall into that category, that does not mean they have never been in a leadership position.

The way I had a former boss explain it to me is, you can do it my way and if it's wrong we learn and move forward. If you do it your way and you are wrong, I will replace you with someone that will do it my way. He was open to dialogue about the current subject, but he would never waiver off of his position at that moment. If he took your position into consideration, you would start to see that down the road so he could take credit for the change. (the insecure boss referenced above).

Crazy thing is, he was really good at what he did and retired a few years ago as a high executive of the same company I worked under him with. That style didn't bother me too much, because I was only there for the paycheck while going through grad school

Looked like the cyberturck rocked a little. Doubt he did much damage, but knowing everything that goes into it and the fact that you can only get them repaired at certain locations, it's probably still over $25k in damage

What was contemptible about Morestead’s behavior?

He was really good at what he did and was compensated accordingly. Then he had the audacity to not record any stats in some games

Who is this mythical team that was drafting him 5-6 picks later?

Only ones that stick out are Indy at 45 (drafted Leonard in 6th) or Seattle at 50 (drafted Milroe in 3rd). And this is pure speculation just from seeing who drafted a QB later in the draft and was drafting near 40.
Nope, saints were the only team to draft him, so that means he could have been picked up as an undrafted FA
Was thinking the same thing, but I guess he would rather flaunt that millionaire status on South Beach instead of Atlanta

Because of her non-citizen status, Arias-Cristobal was paying out-of-state tuition for school despite living in the area.
She knew her dad was being held in an ICE detention center after being arrested for violating the speeding laws. Her mom then takes her license away to try to keep her from driving, most likely to try to avoid her having the same fate. She then proceeds to drive and ignore the no turn on red sign and gets pulled over.

As another said, they had 15 years to follow the necessary steps and only tried to begin the process after they were caught. She definitely falls in the "not guilty, I can save her camp"; but her own actions got her where she is today
