Check out the bands page on Facebook...a few live videos from the stadium performance on Saturday. I believe they have ~28 tubas, 21 baritones, ~30 mellophones (and they cut ten)...not sure about trumpets/trombones but the brass numbers are much higher than the previous few years. ...

As a way too long member of tiger band...I will say having to wait through all the ads and what not...there have been multiple times where we were about to play and then there was an announcement or an ad, or they just started playing music so we just sit back down. It has been bad in years past but...

Exactly. Irish doesn't know what he's talking about. Being one year removed from tiger band and working in Baton Rouge has its perks. One, I actually still know people who are in tiger band so I actually have an idea of what's going on and two, I'm able to stop by rehearsals and see what's going on....

Also, my first year in band we played the fight song, then it was changed the following year to the full version of...

If you want to discuss "gleaming errors" in pregame, here's a video from two years ago when people were stopping on the wrong yard lines coming out of the endzone. It's the first pregame, Roy didn't make a big deal out of it, heck he even made a joke out of it to not ...
