Graduated LSU CE in 2022. Moved to Austin right after graduation. Like he said, our company is struggling to hire everyone, including new CE grads. Might need to make a move to a different state.

I grew up in BR, went to LSU, graduated in 2022, and moved to Austin.
BR is a dump
Austin's parks and rec, nightlife, comedy and music scene, and downtown/urban environment is awesome.
As mentioned, only downside is high COL, activist politicians, and wokies.
But for someone single in their 20s-30s, ATX is the place to be.

People who don't live in crime infested, shithole cites enjoy the option of walking/biking around town.
It's kinda funny that outside of some NE cites, college campuses are basically the only "walkable" areas in most cites.
If you are in a city and it feels "alive", you are probably in a walkable city.
