Was pretty obvious that he was committing to LSU. Really nice pick up.
I would say he's pretty close to a lock right now. It could change, but for right now, here are the odds from my statistical recruiting model I've built.

LSU - 81.7%
A&M - 18.3%

So if I was a LSU fan, I would be pretty comfortable.
Iowa State. :wah:

So for a program like ISU, it's not like they're going to be stealing recruits from the SEC. Nobody who has an offer from a SEC program is going to go to Iowa State.

I don't blame the SEC for not wanting to do this. It would probably effect them disproportionately, but I think most southern prospects will stay in the SEC.
Well, first my favorite team is a northern BCS program and Florida is my second, so it would probably benefit them a lot more. Obviously some programs would come to the south and "steal" a few recruits, but think about what SEC teams could do. A team like Florida could perhaps set up a camp in southern California. I don't think it's going to happen, but it would be pretty entertaining.
So he commits today and it seems like Clemson is going to get him. Does anyone know how many times he's visited Clemson? I run a statistical model that predicts where recruits are going to go and 247Sports says he hasn't visited Clemson, so of course my model predicts him to go the Gators.
First post,

Back to the main point, I think programs should be allowed to set up official camps like a once a year off their own campus. This would allow some recruits, that probably couldn't travel to a northern school, the opportunity to get to know the coaches a little bit more. I think it would be really interesting to see where certain programs hold their camps.
