Maybe they will change the blinky LED lightshow lights to rainbow colors, to make it 100% ghey... instead of the current 98% ghey level that it is now.
re: Dan Borne' retiring

I'm sure that Borné is probably a good guy, but I've always HATED his voice and the job that he does.
That "SCOOOOOORES" thing is stupid. It's just corny awkward cheerleader nonsense. A PA guy is supposed to convey information... not act like he's in league with the guy in the tiger suit.
When he started doing that during the Shaq days, I actually mailed a physical snail-mail letter to Joe Dean, begging him to fire that idiot before he gave me a brain aneurysm.
Needless to say, my letter fell on deaf ears.

In basketball at LSU, Big Ben played solid defense. He didn't do anything stupid on the court. He didn't have an outside shot, and he didn't really have any moves on offense, but he played smart.
He was solid, but certainly not spectacular.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE ditch the numbers tradition.
The #18 thing is the stupidest "tradition" that I've ever seen.
The #7 one is a close second.
The only thing that it accomplishes is to make homosexual fans giddy and giggly about who is chosen to wear these "prestigious" numbers.

There are many points in time since the 1950s when you can point to major episodes of communist victories in America, but I think the year when they kicked it into overdrive was 2008... with Obama.
At that point, they knew that they had won the whole ball of wax, and it was just a matter of time.
I firmly believe that Obama took us past the point of no return.
It's not just the dollar amount of the national debt, but the momentum toward disastrous collapse that Obama created can't be stopped.

I'm tellin' ya... don't fall for Harold Ford's "moderate" act.
He's a snake in disguise. He's another Obama.
If he's just gonna talk on TV, that's fine... but wait until he gets into an elected or appointed office. His true colors will come out, and he WILL NOT be this moderate and sensible guy that you're seeing right now.
I promise you... you DO NOT want any of the Memphis Fords in a position of political power. Harold Ford is just weaseling his way into a future position.

Harold Ford is a FRAUD.
I live in Memphis, and the Ford family is an old corrupt Memphis political machine, that has gamed the tax base for untold millions, using a variety of schemes.
Their main scheme was a chain of funeral homes, where they exploited "welfare funerals". The feds paid the full cost of funerals for welfare blacks, and the Fords had many ways of gaining excess funds from loopholes in the system.
They were experts at it, and they did the same thing while several Fords held political office.
Each and every one of the Fords was a "worst of the worst" crooked liberal democrat. Harold Ford is totally one of them, but he's playing the role of a sensible moderate.
Don't fall for his act.

Unfortunately, unfrosted blueberry is hard to find these days. Blueberry is readily available, but it is frosted and buried under a mountain of funfetti. That might be fine in New York City, but not in the American South.

Hey, here's an idea. Let's let gay men be Scout Masters in the Boy Scouts.
What could possibly go wrong?

re: Full 1970 LSU - Ole Miss game
Posted by LSU Weirdo on 7/18/24 at 2:00 pm to EastBankTiger
I was 8 years old. Watched the game at home in New Orleans with my dad on our COLOR TV, while my mom and baby sister had to watch their stupid shows on the black + white TV.
Buddy Lee was my hero, but Bert Jones had a huge buzz about him. The future looked bright with Bert.
That was a great season, but the Notre Dame game was so painful.
Man, I loved that 1970 LSU team.

Intentionally walking Crews would have made sense if the runners were already at 2nd and 3rd. They weren't.
It was a move that was made out of FEAR... not respect, and not strategy.
Kentucky's coach and players are afraid to compete head to head. That's why they are constantly trying to play little tricks and play lawyer-ball. It's not an uncommon phenomenon.

I used to play pick-up games with Joyce Walker in the old Gym Armory back in 1980. She made a fool out of me on a regular basis. She was so quick, and her midrange jumpers never missed. Most of us guys had played high school basketball, but she was always the best player on the court. She was very cool about it. She just loved to play.
