They do, but the urgency and pertinence is not the same when team is tanking.
IMO, since it is much harder to find supporter's to buy out a basketball contract, the university should be prudent with contracts and pay. If Grant wasn't making shy of 3 million, we could fire him. And since enthusiasm lags a couple of years behind success with merchandise and tickets, throwing away 5 million or whatever will not be recouped like in football. So we are stuck, which is the norm with most programs,

The televised women's games are an embarrassment. The camera's are on the fans side and show the court and two rows of fold up chairs. I thought that was the crowd until I later saw the other side. They should switch the seating over, looks like they are playing in a empty HS practice gym.
