Thanks! I’ll let y'all know how they came out. Boiling 50lbs and 20lbs shrimp on Saturday. Btw…I used the stalecracker shrimp boil instructions a few weeks ago. Came out perfect.

Squeezing out one more crawfish boil this weekend. With this hot weather this week, any word if the crawfish are beginning to get a hard shell?

I’m confused. You boil for one minute, you then pull the shrimp out? Wait for water to cool, add seasoning and put shrimp back in?

For 2 (34-37 lb) sacks…I use 3 Cajun land containers…one -one and a half full bottle liquid boil. About 12 lemons sliced. I’m def gonna try the oranges this Saturday. Also, may try the lemon juice at the end. Put oranges in the beginning with all the lemons, onions, garlic etc?

Oranges in a crawfish boil

I’ve never been one to put oranges in my boil, but, lately I’ve been to boils when they were in and the crawfish were quite good. I’m thinking g of trying it this weekend, Do you put oranges in your crawfish boil? Navel or blood oranges? And how many for 2 sacks in a single boil? Thanks in advance!

Boiling a couple sacks of crawfish and I have a dozen crabs as well. How long to boil/soak crabs and how to accomplish this with crawfish?

I certainly hope it does well! That’s such a great location and nothing really has panned out there for quite some time. I’ll give it another try after the holidays.

I live in the neighborhood and went to check it out. I’ll be shocked if it survives. Way too overpriced for what they offer. They also have some odd rules. Can’t order or eat food at the bar. Restaurant closes by 10pm on weekends. $23 for a fish sandwich. Good luck ! But, the renovation looks great and the beer selections are nice. My food was good, not great, for what they are charging.

Bringing $1000 for gambling. Dinners will run another $600. Boozing another $400. Ticket to game $245. Hotel was about $850. Flight is free….so all in $3095. Unless I hit it big on that craps table!

Was a class act. New Orleans sports media has lost an icon.
re: Which LSU football games will sell out this fall
Posted by tigerpilot on 8/6/24 at 12:54 pm
If you go to the LSU ticket website, you can click the seating chart for each game and see what is left for sale. BAMA, only has single seats left. Ole Miss and UCLA have very few tickets left..just the top 3-4 rows of east upper. OU similar. All of those games will be close to, if not a total sellout.
