I ran my first 1/2 marathon on Sunday and signed up early for next year's full as well. From what I understand, the flatter course here should be better than Austin. Hopefully the weather is just as good next year....

Congrats on setting a goal. Getting to the goal is most of the fun. I just ran my first half-marathon yesterday at age 36; hit my time goal too. 1:58:50. I already signed up for the Houston Marathon 2016, and will be doing another half later in the spring and the Houston Half Relay in October to...

This weekend is both the Baton Rouge Louisiana Half & Marathon and the Houston Chevron Half & Marathon. I'm running my first Half in Houston. I don't think head on collisions result in smoking tires flying different directions... that looks like lightening with the flash of light. The story around the video could be fake, but that is a lightening strike on a car in rain...
