Texas head coach Steve Sarkisian addressed the media on Monday and provided the following update on quarterback Quinn Ewers after he left last weeks game with an injury. Per On3:

“There was a non-contact deal, which we touched on,” Sarkisian said Monday. “The oblique strain there. When you guys get your injury report next Wednesday when that officially begins, he would be listed as questionable.

“We’re going to monitor him day to day and see what this looks like. But he would be questionable for Saturday on the report for next week.”
Backup Arch Manning replaced Ewers vs. UTSA last week and passed for 223 yards and four touchdowns. He also rushed for 53 yards and one touchdown on the ground.
