Per SEC Sports: Quinshon Judkins, the former Ole Miss running back, scored two touchdowns to help 8-seed Ohio State defeat 5-seed Texas, 28-14, on Friday night in a College Football Playoff semifinal at the Cotton Bowl in Arlington, Texas.
Judkins 1-yard TD, his second of the night, gave the Buckeyes a 21-14 lead with 7:02 left in the game.
Then the Ohio State defense sealed it.
The Longhorns came right back and drove down the field. But on second-and-goal from the 1-yard line, running back Quintrevion Wisner was thrown for a 7-yard loss. And then on fourth-and-goal with the season hanging in the balance, Texas quarterback Quinn Ewers was sacked and stripped of the ball by Ohio State linebacker Jack Sawyer, who scooped up the loose ball and rumbled 83 yards for the game-sealing touchdown with just 2:13 remaining.
