Texas A&M safety Jacoby Mathews is reportedly entering his name into the NCAA transfer portal the spring window opens in April.

Mathews, a sophomore from Ponchatoula, La., played in 11 games last season with nine starts. He registered 42 total tackles, four PBU's, and one interception.

He was ranked the No. 1 safety in the country coming out of high school in 2022.

He can’t transfer inside the SEC in the spring portal so he will not be playing in the SEC next season
