Tennessee head coach Butch Jones spoke with the media on Wednesday and announced that defensive end Kyle Phillips will have shoulder surgery and will miss the rest of the season.
Philips, a freshman from Nashville, TN suffered the injury during Tennessee's win over South Carolina this past Saturday.
