After departing the South Carolina Football program last week, it has been revealed that wide receiver Ahmari Huggins-Bruce will be transferring back to Louisville ahead of the season opener.

Huggins-Bruce played the last three seasons with the Cardinals and compiled 80 catches for 1,121 yards and 14 touchdowns.

He transferred to South Carolina this past offseason, participating in spring and fall practice with the Gamecocks.

Grass ain’t always greener. WR is one of our bright spots, relatively of course. I wonder if he was going to get less play time than he thought or if he just wanted to go back.

Best of luck to him.
