South Carolina head coach Will Muschamp announced that quarterback Jake Bentley is expected to start against No. 22 Texas A&M on Saturday.

Bentley miss last weeks win vs. Missouri as he was recovering from an injury. Per ESPN:

Bentley missed last Saturday's 37-35 win over Missouri with a left knee injury suffered a week earlier at Kentucky. Bentley was cleared to play against the Tigers, but Muschamp worried the injury affected the junior's mobility and chose to go with backup Michael Scarnecchia.

Scarnecchia threw for three touchdowns and led the Gamecocks (3-2, 2-2 Southeastern Conference) on a game-winning driving with less than two minutes to go to defeat Missouri.

Muschamp said Tuesday that Bentley has moved well at practice so far this week. Unless there's a setback, the coach is confident Bentley will be ready to play versus the Aggies.
Bentley has passed for 928 yards, with seven touchdowns and six interceptions this season.
