Three star running back Rico Dowdle from Asheville, N.C. announced via Twitter on Friday that he has committed to South Carolina.
Rico Dowdle chose the Gamecocks over Boston College, NC State, and Vanderbilt.
South Carolina now has 19 commitments for the class of 2015 with Dowdle on board.
