According to reports, Vanderbilt safety Andre Simmons was allegedly involved in an armed robbery of another student on Tuesday and will be suspended from the team until the completion of an investigation into the matter. WZTV in Nashville first reported that Simmons, 19, and another man barged into the alleged victim’s room and demanded money from a safe before one of the men hit the victim over the head with a gun and reportedly took $5,000.
