Auburn High School linebacker Reuben Foster is the "crown jewel" of Nick Saban's 2013 recruiting class thus far, but the five-star recruit took his second visit to Georgia in the last two weeks. The visit made a strong impression on Foster, according to an interview with 247Sports' Rusty Mansell. Foster said...
quote:

"The visit right here was awesome man," "They showed me out up there, I didn't really even go out, just everywhere I went. It was a wonderful trip man."
Also noteworthy from Foster's interview was the declaration that while he currently remains committed to Alabama, he plans on playing his college ball alongside close friend Tray Matthews, a safety from Newnan, Georgia currently committed to the Bulldogs...
quote:

"Me and Tray are going to play together 100% in college,"

Does someone want to explain what the "crown jewel" had to say in this quote? Did he complete high school, or did he receive a waiver?

You can't lose something you never had.

It's ultimately our fault for paying too much attention to them. Every time I get pissed off at some immature kid acting like an....immature kid, I remind myself. It's not his problem, it's mine.

It makes me sick how these kids get built up like rock stars. Nobody would give a rip about them if they couldn't ball. And yet we (colleges) have to hang on any little whim or inclination they have.
