According to ESPN's Joe Schad, Arkansas football coach Bobby Petrino was hurt in a motorcycle accident on Sunday but did not suffer life-threatening injuries. In a statement issued through the university, Petrino's family said the 51-year-old coach...

"is in stable condition and is expected to make a full recovery. Our family appreciates respect for our privacy during the recovery and we are grateful for the thoughts of Razorback fans at this time."
The accident happened Sunday night on Arkansas Highway 16 in Madison County, near the community of Crosses, Arkansas State Police spokesman Bill Sadler said. Petrino was operating a motorcycle that left the highway and crashed, Sadler said. A member of the Arkansas football staff told's Chris Low that Petrino was "going to be OK," but did suffer some injuries in the accident.
