Jadeveon Clowney, who is widely regarded as the best defensive player in America, was pretty candid at SEC Media Day about how he thinks QBs view him. Clowney said this about Clemson QB Tajh Boyd...
quote:

“I can tell Tajh Boyd is scared back there. He ain’t no sitting duck, but you can see in his eyes that he’s scared of our D-linemen. We know that coming into the game that we have him shook already. We get a couple hits on him and it changes the whole game. He’s scared every time we play them. I know he’s probably listening to this right now, but I’m just telling the truth, man.”
Edward Aschoff of ESPN also tweeted this...
quote:

"Jadeveon Clowney said three SEC QBs (one being Aaron Murray) are scared of him. Along with Tahj Boyd. I tend to agree with that"

When you knock the helmet off of a running back as soon as he is given the handoff b/c you are whipping your O-lineman counterpart's arse, you can talk shite.

he can play, but it is never good for a player to talk smak like this - always comes back to bite them.

Clowney doesn't need to shut up. He can back up his talk.
