Head coach Will Muschamp announced on Monday morning that former Gators QB Chris Leak had been hired as a quality control assistant with the program. While Leak’s duties have not yet been divulged, they will more likely than not be rooted in film preparation and breakdown and other game preparation duties.

Leak was MVP of Florida’s 41–14 rout of Ohio State in the 2007 BCS title game, Leak was also a two-time Second Team All-SEC honoree (2004 and 2006) and holds school records for career completions (895), attempts (1,458) and yards (11,213).
