According to USA Today the University of Arkansas has received a $1 million gift for firing Bobby Petrino...

"The Donald W. Reynolds foundation announced it was donating $1 million to the school to help fund the university's planned Student-Athlete Success Center in reaction to Petrino's removal after he was found to have had an inappropriate relationship with a staff member.

In addition, the foundation's chairman, Fred W. Smith, made a personal donation of $250,000 to support the center and rename the university's existing student-athlete development program as the Jeff Long Student-Athlete Development Program."

I applaud Arkansas for doing what it had to. However, if the story about Arkansas offering a Petrino a way to stay if he accepted Monetary penalties are true, well..............
