Arkansas Boosters Want Butch Davis
by Larry LeoSeptember 19, 2012
According to sources, Butch Davis, the former Arkansas Razorbacks defensive end from Springdale, has had plenty of support from prominent boosters and trustees as UA Athletic Director Jeff Long surveys the land for a new head coach. But first Davis has to resolve the ignominious circumstances under which he was fired from the Tar Heels. He’s currently embroiled in a legal battle with media outlets seeking access to his personal cell phone records as they cover the ongoing scandal involving the UNC athletics department. Could be a good fit for the Hogs.

What's the matter with UA? First Petrino, then Time-Bomb Smith, and now Butch Davis? Something's got to be seriously wrong.
