The Knoxville News Sentinel is reporting that Tennessee redshirt offensive lineman Charles Mosley was arrested for DUI and speeding.

The Brighton, TN native was stopped at 1:51am from speeding and the arresting officer noticed an odor of marijuana as he approached the vehicle.

“The defendant stated that he was not smoking, but his friends at the Econo Lodge were,” the arrest warrant states.

Mosley subsequently performed poorly on a field sobriety test, according to the warrant.

The arresting officer searched the vehicle and allegedly found “marijuana residue” in the front passenger area and back seat.

Brighton redshirted last season after suffering a broken leg in a July 2014 car accident.
