According to multiple sources, South Carolina junior running back Mike Davis will be honored along with the seniors prior to Saturday’s game vs. South Alabama.

Many believe that Davis will opt to enter the 2015 NFL Draft following the season. Here is what Gamecocks head coach Steve Spurrier had to say about it per USAToday:

“I think, before the season, he was thinking about that,” said Spurrier. “You’ll have to ask him what his plans are. I haven’t really talked to him about it. I have always said any player that wants to leave after three years, that would be his decision.

“I don’t try to talk them into staying. If you talk a kid into staying that had a serious injury that would be bad on the coaches in my opinion. We just tell our players to be smart and try to see where you’re going to be drafted.”
