by TD Staff ReporterFebruary 12, 2014

Mark J. Rebilas-USA TODAY Sports
According to Nola.com, Texas A&M will honor retired recruit Cedric Collins scholarship despite a career-ending injury.
quote:Collins is from Dallas, TX and played at Skyline High School. On National Signing Day, Aggies coach Kevin Sumlin sent this tweet out:
The defensive back committed to Texas A&M in his junior year on August of 2012. That year, he began to lose feeling in his legs. He was later diagnosed with Klippel-Feil syndrome, a "rare congenital fusion of vertebrae."
Texas A&M decided to honor his scholarship and Collins will serve as a student coach so he can continue to get his education.
quote:Classy move by Kevin Sumlin and the Aggies.
