The Knox County Sheriff's Office says Paulk's ex-girlfriend told them she was attending a party at Quarry Trail Apartments Saturday night and was talking with Paulk.
She said the two got into an argument. Paulk allegedly became agitated and punched the girl in the mouth. A police report said the girl had cuts to her lips but refused medical treatment.
The victim has refused to prosecute or take out an order of protection.
