South Carolina linebacker Marcquis Roberts announced on Facebook Tuesday that he is transferring to Kansas. Per

“Thank you to all the schools that wanted me to join their school,” Roberts said Monday on his Facebook page. “It feels like a 2nd chance. I will be playing football and working towards my master’s at Kansas University. Blessed beyond belief.”

The 6-foot-1, 216-pound Roberts played in all 13 games in 2014 as a redshirt sophomore, recording 31 tackles and breaking up two passes. He made six starts.
