They do the same thing with Nashville. They call Nashville- Nashvegas. Adding "vegas" to the end of any name makes me go a big rubbery one.

Prime time journalism Larry. People have been calling it Starkvegas since before I was born. It's just a cool name. Not a reference comparing Starkville to Las Vegas.
