You break it, you buy it. On Tuesday, Ole Miss AD Ross Bjork asked Rebels fans to help pay for the two goalposts torn down (each cost $11,000), the fine from the conference (a maximum $50,000 for rushing the field) and $3,000 in stadium repairs all stemming from their Alabama upset celebration. Within three hours, they raised $75,000 and all as of Wednesday morning, 760 donors had given a total of $92,433. Bjork told ESPN.com...
"We were going to pay all of this no matter what, and it was worth it," "This wasn't all about the money, it was about the connection and the cause and tapping into the emotion from the big win."
