I rarely am moved by sports-related historical synapses, but I admittedly found the SECStoried regarding the Mullins injury and his subsequent death quite compelling. The gesture seems rather appropriate considering the outstanding character of this departed young man.

They should have made the speed limit 38 mph on campus in honor of Mullins, not 18 for manning
