During Wednesday's SEC Coaches Teleconference, Alabama head coach Nick Saban said that the quarterback competition between Blake Sims and Jacob Coker is still ongoing.
Sims started in the season opener against West Virginia on Saturday and completed 24 of 33 passes for 250 yards and an interception, adding 42 yards on the ground. Coker did not see any playing time.
Alabama plays FAU on Saturday at 12 p.m. E.T.
