Reports surfaced on Sunday that Alabama offensive coordinator Lane Kiffin is a top candidate for the same position with the San Francisco 49ers.

Head coach Nick Saban addressed those reports while attending Senior Bowl practice on Tuesday. Per WIAT.com
quote:

“All of our coaches at this time of year have opportunities,” Saban said during an interview at the Senior Bowl. “I think all of our guys work hard so that they can get opportunities, and if there are better opportunities that serve them better professionally, we’re very supportive in our guys getting promotions and doing those types of things.”

Saban says Kiffin is currently committed to his position at the university and is still recruiting.

“I know (Kiffin) is committed to us right now and he’s doing the best he can to help us recruit and do the things that we need to do to have a better team next year,” Saban added. “We’re hopeful that that will continue.”

Bama fans will be in denial. Think they are bigger than the 49ers.
