ESPN's Brett McMurphy is reporting that Mississippi State and BYU have agreed to a home and home series starting in 2016 in Provo, UT. The 2017 game will take place in Starkville.

No dates have been announced; however, BYU lists open dates on October 1, 15 and 29 for 2016, along with November 5. The Cougars’ open dates for 2017 are September 16 and 23, along with October 14 and November 11.

So Mississippi State manages to get a traditional home-and-home series with BYU, yet LSU has to settle for another damn neutral site match-up in Houston? That's pretty pathetic, Alleva. I'm sure a number of fans would have enjoyed the opportunity to visit Provo.
