The Kansas City Chiefs traded up with the Cleveland Browns to select LSU cornerback Mansoor Delane with the 6th overall pick in the first round of the 2026 NFL Draft.

Post-Draft Analysis - ESPN
The Chiefs liked Delane so much they moved up to get him. Delane is a balanced CB1 with great film in off coverage and press coverage alike, and he has a nose for the football with 18 passes defended over the past two seasons. The Chiefs have long drafted middle-round defensive backs and developed them into starters under coordinator Steve Spagnuolo, but they always go all out for special prospects. They traded up for cornerback Trent McDuffie in 2022, and now they traded up for Delane. He'll start on the outside, and Kristian Fulton and Nohl Williams will battle for the other spot. -- Ben Solak
