Joel Klatt Reveals His SEC Championship Game Prediction

Fox Sports Joel Klatt previewed all the Conference Championship games during his show this week and is picking Texas to beat Georgia in Saturday's rematch in the SEC Championship. Per SDS:

“Trends in this one lead me to believe that Texas is going to win,” said the analyst. “I said this all along, I thought that these were the two best teams in the SEC when they played the first time.”

Since the first matchup between these teams, the Longhorns have gone 5-0. The Bulldogs, meanwhile, have gone 4-1 and most recently went to 8 overtimes to beat Georgia Tech.

“Ever since then (the first matchup), I have said, I think Texas will win the rematch,” explained Klatt. “I think they are a better football team. Texas is favored, and I think they cover.”
