Bruce Feldman with Fox Sports and Travis Haney of ESPN are both reporting that the Mark Richt era could be coming an end at Georgia with the recent struggles in Athens.

Georgia has lost three of its last four games, including last Saturday's 27-3 loss against Florida. The Bulldogs are currently 5-3 and 3-3 in the SEC.

All those hot prospects go to UGA because Richt is an excellent recruiter.
The lease is getting shorter however, but folks remember Dooley leaving and how long
it took to become respectable again. Best have a rock solid plan when you pull the trigger.

Fuente? No. I guess everyone is obsessing over a coach that can hang his hat on one win. He also beat Bowling Green by a fg. He went 4-8 and 3-9 with that team. Has he turned it around? Yes, but its not like they really play anyone and they have had close games against scrub teams. I would much rather have Tom Hermann.

I live in Atlanta, and never understood the fascination with Richt. Good coach, but not a great one. Loads of talent in Georgia and his teams always seems to under-perform. And his teams aren't disciplined at all. It would be wise (although maybe emotionally painful) for UGA to let Richt go (he can then go to Miami - his alma mater).

Lots of money talking. Not enough to get anything done... yet. I think you see us lose to any two of AU, UK, or GT and it will get interesting.

Georgia would be smart to rid of Richt and hire Fuente. But their program is run by a bunch of potatoes... So Richt will stay.
