During his 'Always College Football' podcast this week, host Greg McElroy previewed several SEC matchups and revealed his picks for the game.

McElroy is picking Texas to take care of Arkansas, Flordia to upset LSU in the Swamp, and Georgia to get the big win over Tennessee. Per SDS and On3:

Texas at Arkansas:
“I think this is a must-win for Texas, and of course, a big one for Arkansas and Sam Pittman,” McElroy said. “Picking this game, I am taking the Texas Longhorns. I think this is a bad matchup for Arkansas. I know Arkansas is all in on this particular game and I know this is their Super Bowl.

“I think Arkansas will throw their best punch, but unfortunately for Arkansas, this game is at noon. I will take Texas. I think this is a bad matchup for Arkansas, and the Horns get the job done.”

LSU at Florida:
“I’m taking Florida in the game. I don’t think LSU has solved their problems with quarterback run,” McElroy said. “I’m taking the Gators, and that’s under the assumption that Lagway will play.”

Tennessee at Georgia:
“Too many points given up, way too many points… I think Tennessee’s defense is going to completely hold this Georgia offense in check,” McElroy continued. “I think this thing is going to look a lot more like the Kentucky game… I’ll take Georgia but it’s purely because of desperation.”
