On Thursday, Georgia head coach Mark Richt announced that Paris Bostick, a redshirt freshman outside linebacker will be transferring to another school.

“After discussing the situation with Paris, we mutually agreed this is a good decision,” said Richt. “He has a positive future in football and we wish him all the best in attaining his goals in football and in education.”
Bostick was a 3-star prospect out of high school in Tampa, Florida (Plant High School). He had surgery on his toe last summer which lead to him redshirted during the 2013 season.

Bostick leaves having never played a down for the Bulldogs.

His transfer gets Richt down to the 85 scholarship cap. Essentially, Bostick (LB) just made room for Lorenzo Carter's (LB) last minute signing.
