Former Texas A&M quarterback Nick Starkel announced Monday that he is transferring to Arkansas.

Starkel, a native of Argyle, TX played in just four games during the 2018 season, throwing for 169 yards and a touchdown while backing up starter Kellen Mond.

The fact that Jimbo didn’t block his transfer to an western conference rival speaks volumes about how he preceived the threat of losing this kid.

I'm not sure Jimbo could block a grad transfer.

Rules changed on grad transfers in 2019. Very tough (if not impossible) to block after the change.

Solid pickup. If used/done right it could help stabilize the program. If not then Morris may not be the guy.
