Five-star defensive end Byron Cowart left his visit to Florida early on Saturday. Derek Tyson with ESPN reports that he left early because his mother was called into work in Tampa.

Cowart, a strong-side defensive end prospect from Seffner, FL, is the No. 3 overall player in the country. His top two schools are Florida and Auburn.

The guy told the staff on Thursday he would be leaving early. She wanted to talk to the staff and did. He didn't need to even visit UF since he practically leaved on campus all year. #UF
