ESPN is ranking the Top 25 players in the SEC in 2013, and we will be featuring the Top 15 on the SEC Rant. Auburn defensive end Dee Ford came in at No. 13.

The ranking is based solely on performance during the 2013 season, and is based on how players performed in key games and clutch situations. Here is what ESPN had to say about Ford:

After missing the first two games with a knee injury, Ford returned with a chip on his shoulder. He recorded seven sacks in his first seven games back and finished the season with 10.5 sacks and 14.5 tackles for loss. He was a first-team All-SEC selection and a major reason why Auburn reached the VIZIO BCS National Championship game.
