ESPN Ranks The Top 10 College Football Quarterback For 2024

ESPN recently ranked the Top 10 College Football Quarterbacks for 2024 and included four players from the SEC.

Georgia's Carson Beck was at the top of the list at No. 1.

After waiting patiently for three seasons, Beck finally took over Georgia's offense in 2023. He led the Bulldogs to an unbeaten regular season and nearly took them back to the College Football Playoff. In his first season as a starter, he completed a whopping 72.4% of his pass attempts for 3,941 yards with 24 touchdowns and six interceptions. After all the concerns about Georgia having a new quarterback and offensive coordinator (Mike Bobo), it ranked fifth in the FBS in scoring (40.1 points per game) and 11th in passing (305.3 yards).

This season, Beck won't have All-America tight end Brock Bowers or receiver Ladd McConkey. Then again, he didn't have them at his disposal for extended stretches last season, either. Georgia is still stocked with pass-catchers; it added tight end Benjamin Yurosek (Stanford) and receivers Colbie Young (Miami), Michael Jackson III (USC) and London Humphreys (Vanderbilt) via the transfer portal.
