Georgia DE signee Lorenzo Carter told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution he thinks that fellow DE Raekwon McMillan didn't sign with the Dawgs because of the above weird portrait the school sent him to win him over...
quote:

“They did (the portraits) for me and (DE) Raekwon McMillan,” “I looked good in (the portrait), compared to how I look in real life. Raekwon’s picture didn’t look good. It was ugly. He didn’t like it. That’s probably why he didn’t come to UGA (and signed with Ohio State).”
Worst recruiting idea ever.

"It looks like they also spelled his name way wrong!"

No, that's Roquan Smith's portrait shown above. Raekwon McMillan's portrait isn't included in the article.

Why do schools keep doing this? Just strange.

Not every time, but big ones like Tunsil are pretty blatant.

Sounds legit, olddawg26. I mean because every time your school loses a recruit to another school it MUST mean he was paid off.

UGA drew a picture, OSU offered a sack of cash. Picasso couldn't pull this kid from them.
