CBS Sports College Football analyst Rick Neuheisel is picking Alabama to knock off No. 1 Georgia in the SEC Championship and reach the playoffs. Here's what he had to say, according to SDS:
quote:

“Both teams gave up over 200 yards rushing to Auburn. Both teams did,” Neuheisel said on Inside College Football. “If you look at the Auburn quarterbacks against Georgia, they combined for 128 yards, Payton Thorne, Robby Ashford, 128 yards, 16 carries. That’s the only running quarterback Georgia really faced this year.”

Neuheisel believes that Milroe will have his way with Georgia’s defense on the ground.

“Here comes Jalen Milroe who’s got a couple of hundred yard games under his belt,” Neuheisel said. “Tommy Rees has developed the quarterback run game to go along with some big downfield chunks. They’re No. 2 in the country in terms of yards per attempt. There’s reason to believe on the geographic feel why they can win… The Church of Saban will sing again.”

Um, UGA did also face Jaxson Dart, Joe Milton and Haynes King in the final 3 games and all of those offenses have the QB run involved in the offense. Not saying UGA defense isn’t vulnerable but at least get your facts straight if you’re gonna do this for a living.
