Alabama junior linebacker Ryan Anderson and Sierra Patterson, a female Alabama student, were arrested Tuesday in Tuscaloosa on misdemeanor third-degree domestic violence, criminal mischief. Bond was set at $500, according to AL.com:

According to a Tuscaloosa police news release, the alleged crimes involved property damage. Officers arrived to the 1300 block of 17th Ave. East at about 11:28 p.m. Monday. Witnesses indicated Anderson and Patterson got into an argument in the yard.

Patterson allegedly keyed and threw objects at Anderson's vehicle. Anderson also allegedly kicked Patterson's vehicle. Both vehicles had visible damage, according to the TPD report.
Anderson recorded 25 tackles last season, including eight for a loss.

Nothing to see here. Just an argument between a player and his girlfriend. It's a dumb thing to do but not Ray Rice level.

Neither hit one another and that is a good thing. Sadly that bitch keyed his car and that could get her an arse whipping by a lesser man. Anderson was upset but did not physically hit her. Most would have done the Ray Rice on the bitch or an O.J.

odd that both were arrested, Alabama states that in a DV call someone has to go to jail for 12 hours.

Headline sucks. May technically be "domestic violence" but this more akin to disturbing the peace. Nothing worth ruining the young man's reputation over with a misleading attention grabber.

actually, TPD arrested him for misdemeanor third-degree domestic violence, which makes the headline completely and entirely accurate. you all have a problem with it, take it up with your legislature and have the statute amended. otherwise, deal with it.
